As a former aerospace scientist, Fortune 500 executive, inventor and software entrepreneur, Dave Murray has made a living by coming up with new and innovative ideas. In Borrowing Brilliance he explains the origins and evolution of a business idea showing us how new ideas are merely the combinations of existing ideas and that the creative process is merely the trial and error replacement of these existing ideas in an effort to solve an important business problem. He presents a simple Six Step process that anyone can use to build their own business innovations. Since brilliance is actually borrowed, he explains, it’s easily within the reach of every one of us, for it’s really a matter of knowing where to borrow the materials from and how to put them together that determines one’s creative ability.
